North Americans 2015 @St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club: May 18-22
The 2015 North Americans will be held may 18-22 at St Andrews Bay Yacht Club, Panama City, Florida.
Last year the event was hosted by Sail North Carolina with 60 boats in the lineup. Additional containers from Europe have arrived since and we expect the US fleet to continue its solid growth and participation.
German Assoc: Heinz Müller goes 90
February 02 is Heinz Muller birthday. Great to see how many years you can have sailing the As, all my admiration and greetings to his 40yrs A-Cats calendars. Sent by Georg Reutter.

"German A-Class Associaton Member Heinz Müller becomes 90 Years old. After sailing the A-Class more than 40 Years, he is still keen to get back on the water in spring.
On his home Lake near Biblis, he is still the man to beat on a his catamaran. The legend of his small "camping vehicle" in the size of a french car lives on.
2015 Worlds at Punta Ala: Official Website launched

US Assoc, Isla Morada 2015: Woody Cope 1st

USACA Report: "Congrats to Woody Cope and the always fast Nikita today in very light (some drifting, some trapezing) air, weed, and chop. No foiling was sustainable. The bumpy conditions also showed how good C board / winglet boats like the DNA and others".

"The three races of Day 3 were sailed in light and oscillating winds from the Southeast to East.
Racing was delayed for three hours to allow for sufficient wind to fill in to meet the minimal class requirements.
Australian Nats 2015: Day 3 , Brad Collet leads
Images of Race 5 and Brayshaw pitch by Mark Dawson.- Wednesday was lay day for the 2015 Australian nats being held at Lake Cootharaba. On Day 3 Brad Collet continue to lead after 9 races, nr 7 was abandoned. Steven Brayshaw is 5pts behind for second place and Graeme Parker with a 26pts overall for 3rd.
Steve Brewin scored an OCS and lost the chance to climb to the top three as he already discaded a dnf in the 3rd race. He is currently 7th overall with 61pts and this individual race positions: 1,1,dnf,3,2,2,(ocs),1,1
