------
"The three races of Day 3 were sailed in light and oscillating winds from the Southeast to East.
Racing was delayed for three hours to allow for sufficient wind to fill in to meet the minimal class requirements.

Race 7 was shortened and finished after three legs due to a very patchy wind . First across the line was Andrew Williams , followed by Graeme Parker , then Neil How.
A protest against the Race Committee arguing that the race should have been abandoned rather then shortened was upheld, and the was abandoned.

The wind improved a little for Race 8, and some of the gusts provided enough energy for some of the more skill full coolers to rise up on four legs. The race was won in quite convincing style by Brad Collett, finishing the race with a very long airborne flight which took him across the line. He was followed by Stephen Brayshaw, David Brewer, Graeme Parker and Andrew Williams.

Conditions remained much the same for Race 9, which was won by Steve Brewin from Andrew Williams, David Brewe, Graeme Parker, and Mark Johnson.

Brad Collett maintains his lead for the series with 12 points, with Stephen Brayshaw second on 17 points , and Graeme Parker third with 26 points.
With three races to go, the series still remained reasonably open.
Light to moderate winds are forecast for the last day.

The shallow waters of the lake allow for some unique comical situation. At the windward mark in race 7, a photographer was standing, chest height, photographing the procedure. A little latter on another competitor was seen standing having alighted from craft in order to release his rudder which was firmly snagged to the mooring rope of the finishing buoy.
