Brazilian Nats 2015
The Brazilian A-Class Association has base in Sao Paulo, at the Guarapiranga lake/dam. They have a mix of designs racing together, all having fun as I could see from Ronaldo Fernandes, owner of an 18yrs old Marstrom the first A-Class arrived to Brasil (photo Below), was named also vice president for next period.
From Argentina we already are in contact with them, and we will try to organize an event together in the future.

Siracusa (SR): Helmut Stumhofer wins the Cat A Italia National Race, organized by the sailing club Ortigia.
The sailing club Ortigia organized the first National Race, which was held last weekend in Siracusa and, very surprisingly, the podium was conquered only by German helmsmen.

As always complete & detailed by Bob Griffits & the Australian Assoc / www.a-cat.org.au:
"The NSW A Class Championships were held over the weekend of March 21st and 22nd, straddling the Southern Hemisphere's Autumn Equinox. 26 boats from New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria, converged to the South Lake Macquarie Sailing Club to compete in a proposed 7 race series.
Learning to control current Foil Development
Last Friday I went out on one of my almost daily summer sessions here in BA: 8 to 12 knots excellent conditions. Equipped with a Gopro mounted on a helmet I filmed some rides where I'm trying to control the new downwind foiling mode.
It is not an easy thing to do, and you need lots of sailing hours and foil/winglet trim.

Dear Presidents,
The official web site of the WC 2015 is now www.aclassworlds2015.it
The championship is OPEN, it means there are no limit about numbers of entries, and in case of more than 120 boats, the fleet will be split into two different.
NOR Link http://acatworld2015.it/notice-of-race.html
That's the reason of the NOR point 4, because the organization must to know the number of boats in advance.

Swiss Assoc present at Suisse Nautic expo
Suisse Nautic 2015 report
The SACA was present at the Suisse Nautic exhibition which took place in Bern from 18th to 22nd of February. Thanks to the engagement of the "Scheurer & Caviezel Team" and a bunch of dedicated volunteers, we showed our favourite boat in a spectacular setup.
Many visitors looked at the flying boats on the screen, asked questions, wanted to touch the foils, and in general showed great interest. I hope we will see some of these sailors joining our class sooner or later.
Australia: Victoria States Championships for Steve Brewin
Another event where the C boards are competitive in the overall with David Parker finishing second behind Steve Brewin who was short to win the Aus Nats on a capsize he couldn´t recover from in due time.
