A reminder from the President regarding the WGM to be held this February at Takapuna Worlds:
All nations not having a representative at the WGM are requested send a proxy vote by email to Piet Saarberg and Andrew Landenberger.

We contacted Brett Burvill from Windrush Yachts Australia as he is offering and delivering to some top riders their new C daggers. Interesting to see how the flex approach is maximized to generate the extra lift similar to Js or Ls ones. In Formula Windsurfing foils flex is key and depends on the conditions too, and I always wondered if someone has ever done some specific tests in racing beachcats. I once discussed this with Andrew McPherson and he told me the stiffer the better for the F18s.

We have received to date 3 submissions for the possible update of the Class sail/hulls logo graphic with the intention to suit new class boats looks and how sailor in gral are currently viewing the As.
Any change should be approved by standard Class procedures. The Classic A and its baselines will remain official emblema.

"Glenn Ashby extended his overall winning margin in the final race of the Australian A Class Catamaran Championships, held at the St Leonard's Yacht Club , on Port Phillip Bay to secure an outstanding 10th Australian
Championship in the class

Glenn Ashby grabs the Australian Nats after a long break from the Class while sailing with Team New Zealand in the Americas Cup Campaign. It was not an easy run though, 2011 World & current European champ Steve Brewin put on a one to one fight for the title confirming he is a top contender for Takapuna.
Steve Brayshaw and Jack Benson were quite consistent too, and went attacking the pair of champs for the top 3 spots on the final races.
