Worlds @Punta Ala 2015: Updated Results from Gold & Silver Fleet
Updated Results attached after the 5th race for Gold & Silver Fleet. Glenn Ashby leads with 5 wins over five races as reported in previous pos. In the SIlver fleet Julio Saubidet from Argentina is leading, followed by Hervé Ledue and Danielle Menegatti.

Punta Ala Worlds 2015: Day 3, Glenn Ashby leads with 5 bullets
5 wins for Glenn Ashby after same numbers of races held at Punta Ala, four form the qualy and one of from the Finals that was held today for Silver & Gold fleets after the B group completed their 4th race (earlier on the day), that was cancelled yesterday due to a major wind shift as reported by Steve Brewin in video below.

Mischa Heemskerk got 30 mins ahead of the 2nd place so their 4th race was cancelled. In the other fleet Manuel Calavia filled a protest after the 4th one in his group.

"The Danes were back at the very nice sailing club in Kaløvig, where the Worlds were raced in 2011.
Weather gods looked in our direction for a first day with perfect racing in 6-8 m/s, , flat water and sunny skies. Good mix of flying and non flying boat in front.
Second day, more sunshine, enjoyable atmosphere at the harbour, food and good coffee. But no wind....so weather gods didn´t care for the sailors that day !

"Eight races were held for the Sopot Cup 2015, 4 per day. On the first day four competitors won one race each (Tymek Bendyk, Kuba Surowiec, Marcin Badzio, Jacek Noetzel). On the last day Marcin Badzio dominated the fleet in light wind and scored 4 bullets. Polish A-class competitors were preparing for the A-class World Championships next September 5 in Italy.
Dutch Nats 2015, Mischa Heemskerk Champ
Images Henk de Graad. Sunday saw little racing at Hellecat for the 2015 Dutch Nats. Only one race was held with only one sailor participating, Alexander Zylka went out as the rest of the fleet stayed on the beach on 22-30knots winds forecast. Mischa , Glenn and the rest of the fleet got DNS, and the top two spots were left as yesterday after Mischa's 5 consecutive bullets: http://www.a-cat.org/?q=node/597
Dutch Nats 2015: Mischa Heemskerk dominated Day 2
Dutch Nats 2015. Second day of racing at Hellecat where five races were held in perfect 9-11knots. Mischa Heemskerk scored an impressive nr of bullets in same nr of races, five wins over Glenn Ashby who finished 2nd in each one.
Great performance by Mischa sailing his new sail/rig (check image below) setup that is also being used by Roland Wentholt & PJ Dwarshuis who also had good results today with more breeze.
Dutch Nats 2015, Day 1
Light winds for the first day of the 2015 Dutch Nats. Jaap Straakenbroek won the forst one with standard C boards. Later racing was cancelled due to lack of wind until a 2 Bft breeze came in for Glenn Ashby to score a bullet ahead of Sjoerd Hoekstra.
