Sopot A-class Cup 2015 , report by Jacek Noetzel

"Eight races were held for the Sopot Cup 2015, 4 per day. On the first day four competitors won one race each (Tymek Bendyk, Kuba Surowiec, Marcin Badzio, Jacek Noetzel). On the last day Marcin Badzio dominated the fleet in light wind and scored 4 bullets. Polish A-class competitors were preparing for the A-class World Championships next September 5 in Italy.

At the annual meeting Polish A-class association voted to keep the rule 8. The biggest concern was that consequences of dropping rule no.8 would be no necessity of installing the daggerboard in the hull at all, and it would cause completely new boat concept and high costs of such decision.
