Ronstan A-Cat Midwinter Championships 2015: March 6-8 @Key Largo, FL

The US fleet will gather together again this North Hemisphere Winter for the 2015 Ronstan A‐Cat Midwinter Championship to be held March 6‐8, 2015. Hosted by  Upper Keys Sailing Club, 100 North Ocean Bay Dr, Key Largo FL.
The US Association ( www.facebook.com/USAClass ) reports first clash in US soil of latest 2015 from US builders plus Euro camps. First test was done at the Australia Nationals 1 month ago.

1. RULES
The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing.
2.   ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY  Current members of the A‐Class Catamaran Association are eligible, and may enter by registering
online at Regatta Networks: http://www.regattanetwork.com/event/9237.
3.   REGISTRATION AND FEES The entry fee is $80  if registered by February 27. After February 27 and until 0900 on March 6,
the fee is $90.  No entries will be  accepted after 0900, Friday, March 6.
4.   SCHEDULE
The competitors meeting will be on Friday  at 0930.
The first warning signal will be at 1100 on Friday and Saturday and 1000 on Sunday.  No warning signal after 1500 Sunday.
5.   MEASUREMENT Competitors are responsible for makings sure their boat complies with the Class Rules. Measuring of boats
will occur only at the direction of the Organizing Authority or the protest committee.
6.   SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
The Sailing Instructions will be available at registration/check‐in, and online after February24.
7.   VENUE
The racing area is Buttonwood Sound in the vicinity of Upper Keys Sailing Club.
8.   THE COURSES
Windward/leeward courses with offset and gate marks.
9.   PENALTY SYSTEM
Rule 44.1  is changed by substituting the One‐Turn Penalty for the Two‐Turns Penalty.
