The Italian A Cat Class Association -

A Cat Italia has learned about the establishment of a new group of sailors calling themselves "Italia A Classic Cat".
Whereas we duly take note of this legitimate initiative, we feel obliged in the name of the association that we represent to clarify certain aspects.

- Such an initiative is in no way supported by A Cat Italia, neither does it represent our thinking or policy.
- A Cat Italia is the sole representative of ISAF International A Cat Class and is duly associated with IACA - International A-Division Catamaran Association in accordance with the current constitution.
- A Cat Italia applies ISAF measurement rules, IACA rules and its own norms for the national sailing activities.

We wish this new group of sailors all luck.
