French Nats 2014: Francois Gabart Champ

All images Charles Marion. Great success for the 2014 French Nats organized by the Cercle Nautique La Baule. 53 Boats racing including two new French built designs.
Francois Gabart secured the title yesterday and today he didn´t race the the 9th final 'manche'. Gabart sailed the D3 designed by Gonzalo Redondo and built by Dominik Scheurer in France.
Mast was provided by Askell , the new French A-Cat built by the Le Pluart bros who provided the full boat to Billy Besson that ended second overall.

Jean Le Coq on an Exploder, had his chances with 3 bullets, but he was not consistent enough to fight for the title.

Good news for the Class having such great sailors involved providing additional exposure & promotion, and it is even better for the sailors having the chance to chose from additional alternatives to get their A-Cat thanks to the new boats mentioned above.

The organizing Club, Cercle Nautique la Baule, provided daily material publishing results and miages by Charles Marion. Official Event webiste: http://www.ecoledevoilecnbpp.fr/activites-du-cnbpp/championnat-de-franc…
