Danish Nationals results

On the 26th and 27th of september the Danish A-Class Nationals were sailed as a part of a big danish dinghy regatta called the "Harboe Cup".

After a few races it was clear that the battle for first place would be between Thilo Keller of Germany and Thomas Paasch from Denmark. Saturday we started out with winds around 12 knots decreasing to about 6 knots during the day. Thomas had a narrow 2 point lead after the first days 4 races.
Sunday the wind had picked up to around 15 knots, and Thilo showed great downwind performance and managed to catched up so it was a tie for first place after a total of 8 races.

Counting firsts, seconds and so on didn't solve the tie, so in the end Thilo Keller was crowned as the new Open Danish Champion cause he won the last race.
Lars Bunkenburg of Germany ended in third place.
