NZL Venue change for the 2025 Worlds

The New Zealand A-Division Association have announced a change in venue for the 2025 Worlds.  Due to recent financial commitments now being demanded by the previous venue, that were unaffordable and far in excess of the current IACA World Entry €300 per boat fees, the NZADA have decided to switch venues to the Auckland based Milford Cruising Club.  This is just around the corner from the 2014 Takapuna venue as will sail on the same waters.

They said 'While the World Fleet are gathering in Punta Ala this week, we have been working away on next year's event that will be located in Auckland, New Zealand.

Sailing will be held in the same area as the northern America's Cup race course and will be very similar to the successful 2014 worlds previously held at Takapuna.

We are pleased to announce that the Milford Cruising Club have agreed to be our host club, with support from the New Zealand Multihull Yacht Club.

Milford has amazing facilities, large club rooms with a restaurant and bar that is all located right beside a massive grass rigging and boat storage area. With these amenities having direct access to the beach and some of the best sailing waters in Auckland, this is going to be a phenomenal worlds event.

Come and join us, 8th to the 16th of November 2025'.

We all wish them well with the new, arguably. more accessible venue
