Down South Updates: Australian Nats 2014 & Argentina fleet setting up first boats
Summer in Down Under... and the Australians are holding their Nats previous NZ Worlds in February.
We contacted Ian Johnson for news about the Aussie Nats. (Image Dario Valenza/Carbonic Boats.)
"We are currently holding our Nats. 39 Entries.
Day 1 and sitting here waiting for some wind. Don’t look like starting before 2pm.
Yesterday we had an invitation race in 14-19 knots. Half the fleet competed and won by Glenn Ashby from Jack Benson with Dave Brewer 3rd after leading for most of the race. Some very fast downwind sailing on trapeze from the front boats"

Meanwhile in Punta del Este, Uruguay the Argies on holidays are setting up the first boats that will create the new A-Class fleet. Surely we will want to host an A Worlds too now, after the F18 ones confirmed for 2016. Lets say in 2018? Image Juan Faustin.
