IACA rights and recognition.

Following the publication of an article on catsailingnews and in various other media, the IACA (International A-Division Catamaran Association) would like to recall the following facts:

- IACA owns the rights and logo of the class.

- In France, the IACA only recognises the AFCCA (French Association of Catamarans of Class A) and has not delegated competence to any other French association.

- The IACA does not authorize any French association other than AFCAA to use its logo, in any form, original or modified. The only organisation allowed to organize a regatta of the "classic discipline" on French territory is the AFCCA.

- The IACA invites "classic" French sailors to take part in the regattas organised by the AFCCA.

Suite à la publication d'un article sur catsailingnews et dans divers autres médias, l'IACA (association faîtière de la classe A) désire rappeler les faits suivants:

- la IACA est propriétaire des droits et du logo de la classe.

- la IACA ne reconnait en France que l'AFCCA (Association Française des Catamarans de Classe A) et n'a délégué de compétence à aucune autre association française.

- La IACA n'autorise aucune association française autre que l'AFCAA à utiliser son logo, même de manière modifiée.

- La seule organisation compétente pour organiser une régate de la "discipline classic" sur territoire français est l'AFCCA.

- La IACA invite les navigateurs "classiques" français à participer aux régates organisées par l'AFCCA.
