North Americans 2015: Matt Struble Champ

Another crowded event for the Class with 40 A-Cat fleet after the French Nats past week with 55. The 2015 North Americans held at St Andrews Bay Yacht Club  in Panama City, FL was a success with high motivation from the local sailors. The US & CAN members also voted to ban locally and for two years IACA's Rule 8. We will seek comments  from IACA board to clear doubts arising on this subject.

On the racing, Matt Struble from California , and 2013 NA winner, took the again the crown on a good fight with Bruce Mahoney, although Matt finished the regatta with 7 bullets out of ten races, showing a final dominance for the 'Golden State' sailor & also Acat designer & builder.

In 2013 Matt told us how he won at ABYC with his own built design, and in a few days after reaching home from Florida, he will tell us on the experience on racing a foiling boat for the first time , it seems he had no problem adapting from floating g to flying mode...

Second place for 2014 NA winner at Sail NC (the club has put a bid to host 2016 Worlds) , Bruce Mahoney and 3rd place overall for US Assoc President, Bailey White. Great work of the local fleet on the media coverage and the numbers they are getting for US regattas.
