Lamberto Cesare victorious at the Garda Spring Regatta

A disappointing lack of wind brought the Garda Spring Regatta to a premature end at the Univela.org club today, after only 4 races could be run in the series in rainy, shifty, rather 'unGardalike' conditions. World Champ, Kuba Surowiec POL won the first race bullet, but it was Lamberto Cesare ITA who made hay in the minimal foiling conditions yesterday and nailed it with the next 3 bullets, but chased closely by Marco Anessi ITA, as he battled Kuba for second but tied on points, Kuba was declared second on countback in the 40 boat fleet. Both Lamnberto and Marco have been training hard in their Squad team and will be keen to get to the next event. This bodes well for the A-Cat European Championship 2025 Riccione, as there could be good battle for that championship if the wind can arrive there.
